23andMe
23andMe offers a comprehensive autosomal test that focuses on medical predispositions and physical traits. This test also includes markers that are helpful in genealogy and ancestry, but they don't offer actual Y chromosome STR and mitochondrial DNA haplotypes for matching purposes or to query other online databases. Ancestry.com
Ancestry.com offers free and subscription-based services to the world largest genealogical resources. They are currently in the Beta stage of their autosomal DNA product which utilizes the resources of the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation (SMGF), and they are still offering 46 marker YDNA tests and mtDNA testing of the Hypervariable Regions (HVRI, HVRII, and HVRIII).
