23andMe is the first company on the market to offer detailed autosomal DNA testing to its customers. Although they offer only autosomal DNA testing, you have the option to buy only information about your ancestry or, for an added fee, to purchase both health and ancestry reports. Please note that 23andMe is the only company that offers detailed and comprehensive health reports. They don't allow third parties autosomal DNA results to be uploaded to their database. Ancestry.com offers free and subscription-based services to the world largest genealogical resources. In just a few year they also became the world leader for autosomal genetic testing with a database of more than 10 million customers.
